New Friends Colony and NFC West sit on opposite sides of Mathura Road. The stack is at Modi Mill. That is the daily hinderance — not a Faridabad pin, not a Gurgaon commute. The Tribune puts a six-lane, ₹800 Cr elevated road from Ashram Chowk to Sarai Khwaja so through traffic skips Badarpur and Ali Village. Lift that load off the surface and the strip between the colony and NFC West is the one that breathes.
Traffic relief is the product. Three things, if the deck is built as Tribune describes it.
Through traffic leaves the surface. The six-lane elevated road runs from Ashram Chowk to Sarai Khwaja (Sector 37), Faridabad. The paper’s job for that deck is a signal-free run that bypasses Badarpur Border and Ali Village. Faridabad-bound metal does not have to crawl the same Mathura Road that serves the colony gate.
The NFC–NFC West split can clear. That is the local win. Colony on one side, NFC West on the other, Modi Mill in the stack. Take the long-distance load upstairs and the surface road between those two gates is the stretch that stops being a daily argument.
Ashram to Faridabad is claimed at 10–15 minutes. That is the published time, not a Superluxere stopwatch. The existing 4.4 km Badarpur Elevated Flyover (2010) is the current link — and the hotspot. The new deck is the relief on top of that, not a renaming of it.

Stay on the colony street if you need keys this year and will live with Modi Mill as it is. Book Swaranaya if 2031 is acceptable and the worry is that stretch of road. That is the super luxury read — same pin, quieter surface, one possession year.
